Huzzah! the convention AAR

Approximately 215 attendees, game masters, vendors, and guests arrived for a weekend of wargaming in Maine and what a time we had. The selection of historical wargames was tremendous, but what struck me as I looked across the rooms, was the quality of the games. They were visually appealing, with beautiful miniatures and tabletops, and the scenarios must have been well done if the level of player engagement is any indicator. The players I watched were involved in their games, without a lot of drifting around the hall. This is a testament to the effort on the part of the game masters. We cannot thank you enough for your support of our convention. As I said somewhere else today, you make us look good.
The vendors in attendance offered a wide variety of high quality miniatures, buildings, games, books, and accessories. Their products were displayed wonderfully and my only regret is not having more time to shop. To each of the vendors, for whom a show is a huge amount of work (packing, traveling, unpacking, selling, packing again, and traveling again, and unpacking again), we thank you. We hope that you enjoyed the show and your stay in Maine, and that you will consider joining us again next year.
