Description: The Germans are trying to relieve Stalingrad but need a Russian town to use as a jump-off point. That one will do! What? There are Russians there already. Too Bad!  

For those unfamiliar with the rules, please arrive 10 minutes earlier so that they can be explained. Minors (under 13) must be accompanied by an adult.  
Pavlov's House
    Bolt Action (Warlord)  28mm  WW2  Tony Rieger 
Description: Pavlov's House was a fortified apartment building in which Red Army defenders held for 60 days against a heavy Wehrmacht offensive during the Battle of Stalingrad. The siege lasted from 27 September to 25 November 1942 and eventually the Soviet forces managed to relieve it from the siege. It gained its popular name from Sergeant Yakov Pavlov, who commanded the platoon that seized the building and defended it during the long battle. 

Historical List only See you German / Soviet Army Books under 'Stalingrad' army lists. (750pts and 1000pts. Size will be determined at game day based on participants who show.) Adults only. This is not a tournament.  
Second Battle of the Train Station (Session 1 of 3)
    Bolt Action (Warlord)  28mm  WW2, 1942 Stalingrad, Soviet Union  Larry Irish 
Description: The Train station at Stalingrad saw several assaults from the German Wehrmacht, then the Soviets to take it back. This went on for several months, with the massive station switching sides over the course of months. This battle pits the Soviets against the defending german forces in an attempt to take it back. This moment was commemorated in film at the opening scene in the movie "Enemy At the Gates".

Session 1 of 3 (Players DO NOT need to sign up for all sessions to play.)

Historical Army Lists only (see your Army books under 'Stalingrad'.) This is not a tournament. If you do not have a force you wish to bring, one can be provided. Adults Only.

Description: Stalingrad, November 15 1942. Assault troops from the German 79th infantry division are advancing through the worker's quarters south of the Red Barricades factory. The Russian defenders from the 138th rifle division are short on ammunition and cut off. Desperate house to house fighting ensues, as the Russians defend against the final German push for the Volga.
